$14

FE51: 52 page, A4 sized saddle stitched zine on glossy stock. Edition of 50. Huge 19"x27" glossy folded bedroom poster.

"Teen Love is about Anemoia – the nostalgia for something that never existed."

I have known SJ for as long as I can remember. We knew each other from the 2012 North of England art and design era. They were in Manchester and I was in Leeds (Leeds Leeds). I have always loved their work; graphic and artistic without being too graphic artist.

The "boy racer" subculture we were into as kids was all toxic masculinity. With 'teen love' SJ is trying to reclaim / recontextualise it through a queer lens. Google Max Power Magazine and you'll see.

B. Thom is one of my favourite artists. We have been friends for ages and have made zines together in the past, things like that. Taken from Chris's original launch: “In the year 2020, people speak of various far-right fringe groups almost as if they’re sports teams. Where are they from? What’s their badge and uniform? What type of tactics do they employ? Although the internet age has taken the frequency of these questions to dizzying new heights, this is far from a new phenomenon in America.”.

Back once again. I like Chris's photos in zine format because they're exactly what they need to be; energetic and pretty. They're well taken, colorful, bashful, bright photos from someone who isn't ~technically~ a photographer (by trade). Putting them together you can see people and places feeding of his energy, which feels a lot like real life.

FE17: 80 page, 8.5 x 11" hardcover book with Colorplan endpapers. First edition of 100. Released on the occasion of Drew Escriva's inaugural solo exhibition Bird Show at Umico Gallery, LA.

When Drew first came to me with the idea of a zine to accompany her beautiful work for Bird Show, I didn't know what the outcome would be, both in its content and physicality. It’s not really about birds, there are only a handful of birds in it. It also ended up being an proper book which (as a zine head) I was not expecting, but that’s ok. I am thrilled to share this representation of Drew's work and am excited to release the book.

“Bird Show is a culmination of imagery created over the past 6 years, inspired by a bird obsession and a desire to memorialize life’s seemingly mundane moments.”

G is one of my best friends and favorite artists and this book has been waiting to be released for a number of months. I love it. Also making a 100 page risograph book is no small mountain to climb. It's a cute small pocket sized object too. We were lucky enough to launch it at 109 Montrose. Enjoy!

One color print on red Cotton zip–up tote bag.

The same comment as the last bag but have to reiterate because it's cool, there is a little pocket on the inside with a zip which I found IS big enough for a phone if you don't have a case on it. Also makes it easier to not lose shit in there.

FE07, 8.5 X 11”, 96 pages, clothbound hardcover, tipped in image and foil stamp on cover, back cover and spine. Full color throughout. Edition of 700, co-published with the best commune press. A beautiful, elegant and (I dare-to-say) classy object.

Colin is a dear friend and talented artist, I made his first book with him. When my other dear friends commune (Tokyo) asked if i wanted to design and co-publish this book with them/for Colin I was over the moon.

“Shot between 2019–2021 this body of work takes the audience into another dimension. A space that is colorful and dramatic, beautiful and eerie, where bodies are celebrated and the subject can let go. The pressure of water, the lack of visibility, gravity, and breath, are the forces that create the calm and the tension, the grace and the struggle, the release and the resistance.”
